Yes, We Can!

All in all, INsoul could increase the welfare of society as a whole. It could increase the welfare to people of different age groups, gender, financial status, and occupation to different extents; however, everyone gets to benefit from it one way or another. Initially, the richer would be more willing and able to purchase and utilise this product. Its demand among the rich could increase. Then, when supply increases to meet demand, prices fall due to lower unit cost, allowing the less rich to afford INsoul too.

The ability to walk does not depend on occupation and gender. Though some people engage in activities and jobs that do more walking than others, everyone walks, thus everyone benefits from using INsoul, since it is powered by steps. Females might not prefer the shoes as much as males due to its bulkiness and society’s perception of an ideal female, being one that dresses nicely, which does not include walking around in big shoes. However, they can still stand to benefit from the greater awareness to engage in energy sustainability, and subsequently, the increase in using sustainable energy reducing the rate of climate change. Also, it is myopic to generalise females as society-conforming people. Many females would be willing to go all out to support green technologies, such as INsoul.

Climate change affects everyone on Earth, including the young and old too. Reducing the rate of climate change could potentially save lots of lives, as it could reduce crop damage and crop prices, resulting in cheaper food for everyone. Food is vital for sustenance. Therefore, with successful implementation to the market, INsoul can benefit the world as a whole, sooner or later, by the basis of increasing sustainable energy uses and reducing the rate of climate change.
